ACE (Archaeology Cambridgeshire East) is a community archaeology group dedicated to exploring the history and prehistory of East Cambridgeshire, as well as focussing on the under recorded archaeology of the East Fen Edge.  ACE is a sub group of Soham Museum.

There is a planned programme of activities, including talks and presentations on local topics along with practical projects including environmental and landscape survey, field walking and excavation.  

Winter and Spring 2019 programme includes

-   Field Walking near Swaffham Prior

-   Test Pitting in Soham, Ely and Burwell areas

-   Geophysics Surveys - Burwell, Ely, Witchford areas

-   Voluteering at Wicken Windmill Restoration Working Days

We are a small, friendly group, there is no joining fee and everyone is welcome - so come and see what we are about!
