ACE (Archaeology Cambridgeshire East) is a community archaeology group dedicated to exploring the history and prehistory of East Cambridgeshire, as well as focussing on the under recorded archaeology of the East Fen Edge.  ACE is a sub group of Soham Museum.

There is a planned programme of activities, including talks and presentations on local topics along with practical projects including environmental and landscape survey, field walking and excavation.  

Spring and Summer 2019 programme includes

-   Test Pits at Little Thetford - 8-15 June and September TBC

-   Open Farm Sunday - G's (Shropshires) Barway  - 9 June

-   Outreach - Little Thetford School Archaeology Week - 17-21 June

-   Geophysics Surveys -  Witchford 5 May, Ely 12 May

-   Voluteering at Wicken Windmill Restoration Working Days

We are a small, friendly group, there is no joining fee and everyone is welcome - so come and see what we are about!
