I'm sorry to inform you that we have had to cancel/postpone our Winter Social this Saturday due to sickness. We aim to reschedule it for in the New Year - we'll let you know a new date as soon as we can. Sorry for any disappointment - and please spread the word that the party has been cancelled.

One of the main aims of Jigsaw, alongside supporting existing history and archaeology groups, is to work with local people to set up new Archaeology Action Groups across the county. We are currently in conversation with local people about setting up groups in Ramsey, St Ives and Godmanchester. If you live in any of these areas and would like to get involved in archaeology in your area, please get in touch. info@jigsawcambs.org
If you live somewhere else in Cambridgeshire and would like to set up a new archaeology group, please do get in touch as well!

Our next Jigsaw traini
ng course is the 'Introductory Course to Historical Research Methods' by Honor Ridout this coming Saturday 17th November 10am - 12.30pm at Tillage Hall, Waterbeach. This course will be on how to research the archaeology, history and heritage of a parish, village or community using documentary records, the Historic Environment Record (HER), Cambridgeshire Community Archives Network (CCAN) and the Cambridgeshire Collection. We are already well-subscribed but places are still available, so if you would like to come please complete the online booking form.
