The Cambridge Archaeology Field Group (CAFG)  will be on site at Wimpole Hall from 20th July to 28th July, 10.00 to 4.00pm excavating 1m square test pits. They hope to find evidence of the early Saxon settlement as well as later medieval activity. Please come along to see what they have found and talk to the archaeologists.
